ARMAGH CITY COUNCIL

When the time came for the Chief Executive of Armagh City & District Council to update the furniture in his office, he wanted furniture that was traditional in design to compliment the granduer of the Palace Demesne where the office is situated and with a quality and appearance that was impressive enough to make a positive impact of Council Visitors. Yet the Client was keen that the office remain a practical working space with a comforting atmosphere that would make visitors feel welcome and relaxed. The 1600mm Bespoke Desk we manufactured was based on a traditional 'partner-style' double pedestal design with antique effect handles and concealed storage incorporated and it and the Conference and Coffee Table all featured and Inlay a Mahogany real wood veneer finish with a Black Inlay and Cross-Band detail to give added interest. All the Seating used in the room had the woodwork stained to a medium Mahogany finish to match the furniture and was then upholstered in Andrew Muirhead Sateen leather to give a luxurious look and feel. |

CARRICKFERGUS WATERFRONT

As part of Carrickfergus Borough Council's regeneration program for the the waterfront area of the town they commissioned the building of a new Marina Headquarters building to act as the focal point of a mixed use Retail/Residential development. The client's brief for the project was for furnishings that were versatile and practical with a strong emphasis on quality and style, to reflect the prestige nature of the development and we worked closely with the client to advise on layouts and finishes. The "Tangent" and "Agenda" real wood veneer finishes office furniture ranges were manufactured on site in Richhill to the client's exact specification and were complimented in the Boardroom by the use of the "Top Tilt" modular table system with matching veneer tops. All seating for the installation was supplied by Antocks Lairn Ltd and included thier "Ego", "Energo", "Luxor" and "Adagio" models. |

PORTADOWN CREDIT UNION
Portadown Credit Union recently moved to new premises in William Street, Portadown. The Committee was keen that all furnishings in the new facility were of a superior quality that would reflect the superior service given to all the Credit Union's clients. We consulted closely with the Client throughout the design process to come up with a unique and impacting style for thier Boardroom Table that exactly matched the practical requirements of the space. The end design was a truely classic item of bespoke furniture with a design that focused heavily on attention to detail and a mix of materials to create a piece that complimented the room. The Table was 4.5metres long by 2metres wide in a 'Barrel' profile to facilitate a clear line of sight between users with the curves being carried through to the unusual elliptical shaped legs. The American Oak real wood veneer surface was strikingly accented by the inset top in Andrew Muirhead Leather choosen by the Client and the table top was finished with a gently profiled solid timber edge. |
